It probably would not be all that difficult to determine who's doing this. Simply look at the checkout records and see who checked out everyone of these particular books. This ain't rocket surgery.

that is assuming that the person checked out the books. It is possible that the words were crossed out within the library itself.

It is fairly easy to find out who has checked out the books. This line leads me to believe that they have already done that:


"This person is evidently offended by these words," she said. "I'm more offended by (the suspect)."
