An ice-skating bear turned on its trainers, killing one and seriously wounding another. A visiting Russian troupe was rehearsing for a show in Bishkek when the attack occurred Wednesday.

I have said this before but for a different kind of animal attack. How many people have to be attacked before people realize animals shouldn't be used for entertainment?

Yeah, the bear is the bad one. Animals in circuses and such are just supposed to tolerate us to no end. If they finally have enough and snap, well, then they're dangerous and need to be put down.
Maybe they should put the trainers in clowns suits and teach them to skate and play hockey and let them do the show.

It makes me feel sick that they killed the bear, simply for acting on it's instincts. I don't understand how anyone could go to these shows for 'entertainment'.
