Boudoir doesn't mean 'naked'. From what I've read it just mean 'ladies sitting room or bedroom'.

Boudoir photography is normally of a woman dressed in sexy lingerie laying on a bear rug or something!!

I think this is just 'new' because it's nude photogrpahy. Not that nude photography is a new idea, it's just relatively new to the 'gift giving idea' genre!! :-)

It used to be that paper was the first year anniversary gift; now it's paper with naked pictures of yourself on them!!

okay thanks, tlovesd. I used "Boudoir" just to be cute. I guess by new they mean the gift idea as opposed to just taking naked pictures. makes sense

I think it's a novel idea. Like you said T... nudes have been around forever but the concept of flipping through some sexy pics of my wife 50 years from now I would find quite exciting. I think it would be a cool wedding gift and as stated in the article, the pics could spice up the future should things become dull. Gotta go... I need to find my wife and a camera! ;)

It's a novel idea, but I see one small hitch.

How do you explain that to your kids some day? I'd found everything my mom didn't want me to find by about age 7 :D
